What Does a Consultation Look Like?

Here’s what the process looks like if you are interested in having Modern Woodscapes provide you with a quote for building out your outdoor living space:

Initial Phone Conversation

During the initial phone conversation, you can tell us about any general things that you what to add to your outdoor living space. It could be a pergola, pavilion, outdoor kitchen, fireplace, or any other structure. We will set a date and time for me, the owner of Modern Woodscapes, to come out and meet with you.

Day of Consultation

As a friendly reminder, I will send you a text the day of the consultation. During my visit, you can show me your current back patio and we can talk about what your plans are for your outdoor living space. Once I see your current patio, I can make recommendations for what would work best to accomplish your vision for your outdoor living space. We also provide you with a 32-page Modern Woodscapes catalog that highlights some of the work we have done over the years. It has examples of every type of project we can handle with plenty of pictures so show off our work. I will also take measurements and pictures of the back of your home.

Get on Our Schedule

In most cases, I can give you a ballpark price of what your project will end up costing. If you want to get on our schedule, we can take the deposit right then, that way your spot on the calendar is locked in.

3D Rendering

Over the next few days, I will make a 3D Rendering of your project on the computer, using the measurements and pictures that I took while onsite. The 3D rendering will have your house in it as well, so you can see how your new outdoor living space will interact with your home. Once the 3D Rendering is complete, we can set up an appointment for me to show you the model. Once you see what it will look like, you can still make any adjustments to the project that you want, all before construction actually begins.

Here at Modern Woodscapes, we make the process as easy as it can be. We don’t have any hidden fees and the proposal that we provide is al a carte. So, you can do the project in phases if you want, or remove certain line items altogether. We want to build exactly what you want and not pressure you into buying things that don’t fit your vision for your backyard.
